Your first client, step by step

From a search to a live website, in the order you'll do it.

  1. Connect your payouts.Your clients pay you by card, and the money reaches your bank weekly or monthly. Connect your payouts before you send your first approval link.
  2. Find ten businesses.Search one town, and check that each business is open and busy.
  3. Build three websites.Pick the best three, and check every detail on your phone.
  4. Talk first.Call or visit to show the website on your phone, then set a follow-up day.
  5. Follow up.Call or write on the day you said you would.
  6. Ask for their details.Press They said yes on the website's page, then make the link and text it to the owner. From their phone, they send their logo, photos, team, prices and story.
  7. Update the website. When their material arrives, press Rebuild website with their material. Before it runs, you see the most it can cost in credits. Then check the new version on your phone.
  8. Send the approval link. The approval link opens a secure card payment page in your name. When the owner pays, that's their approval of the website they saw, and it goes live at its address within minutes.
  9. Share domain instructions.Send your client the record to add where they bought their domain. Their login shows when it's connected.
  10. Hand it over.Check the live site together on their phone, and show them how to make a change.

The first-week checklist spreads these steps over seven days, and the handover guide has the email to send when the site goes live.
